"In Penny Lane there is a barber showing photographs of every head he's had the pleasure to know"--The Beatles, PENNY LANE, meanspeed=113.5 BPM

One of the only popular songs to be successful written in the key of B major is Penny Lane by The Beatles. It is a song written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon. I am beginning to write in wiki-style, and that is scary!

Ok, the histograms, or speed charts, or speed visuals--whatever you want to call the spread sheet diagrams that illustrate the exact speed of the song--were measured as
beats played=319
time=2'48.7"
meanspeed=113.5 beats per minute
meanspace=529 milliseconds per beat
