We thought that it would a fine thing to count up year by year--now that the light of the 2007 Grammy Awards has shone, back to 1986 and move up day by day to the present.
On February 25, 1986, the Grammy Awards were given at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The Album of the Year Award went to: Phil Collins for his album No Jacket Required, a group of songs that featured Phil’s signature 1980s sound.
